Hello everyone. Today I would like to talk about musical notes and how to read and understand them. When we talk about musical notes we need to separate between two elements. One is the position of the notes on the staves and the second one is the rhythm of each individual note. On the piano, we have two clefs. Treble Staff and Bass Staff. Supposedly we can say that Treble Staff is for mid and high notes and Bass Staff is for low mid and low notes. Here is an example for Treble Staff and Bass Staff + the name of the notes in each clef.
I encourage you to learn and memorize those notes. We can see the difference between the two clefs. InBass Staff, the note ” E ” will be the same as ” C ” in Treble Staff
My advice to you is first to learn Treble Staff and then you can go toBass Staff. I think that the best way to begin is through childhood songs. Most of them consist of basic and catchy rhythm, so there you can learn it the easy way. That’s it for today. I hope you find this lesson helpful. If you want to learn more about music notes I have a course called “Be a better player” this course will help you to read notes and in the end be able to play modern music that you really like just from looking at the notes.
